PhD in farm science, Leszek Borkowski  is a 2nd degree specialist in Drug Analysis and a 1st degree specialist in Pharmaceutical Analysis. Former President of the Office for Registration of Medicinal Products, Medical Devices and Biocidal Products. Former Director of the Institute of Health Sciences at the Maria Skłodowska-Curie University of Warsaw, Prof. extraordinary appointed on the basis of a resolution of the University Senate. Appointed to the Healthcare Section of the National Development Council at the President of the Republic of Poland.
 

Independent expert in the field of medicinal products, medical devices and biocides. Counselor  on behalf of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in London,  working for the Ukrainian Ministry of Health in the field of medicinal products and medical devices.

The only pharmacologist in the team who is a member of the team  "Science Initiative Against Pandemic" -  a group of scientists who define ways of fighting a pandemic, methods of detecting it and combating it with medicinal products.
